Here are our 22 favorite landscape images.

The American earth is a great and beautiful place.  We have always cared for it and protected it pretty well.  Let’s not waste it all now.

This blog is about the beauty of the American earth. It is mainly a picture book of the American Earth and where it is headed in the near and distant future.

I have been photographing National Parks and places that should have be National Parks for the past forty or fifty years. But now the future of this great and beautiful place is becoming more and more uncertain.

You are free to copy any of the photographs in this blog and use them for yourself.

Below are some of my favorite wild and natural places in America.

Why should we value our wild and beautiful America?

This website is about the American earth and where it may be heading. I’ve been taking these photographs since the 1970s. These are my 22 favorite landscape images. Most of the places seen in this blog are still pretty much as they were when I took the pictures. At least on the surface. But below the surface things are unfortunately changing, millions of species are going extinct, the atmosphere is steadily warming, the oceans are warming, climate zones are moving northwards, industrial toxins are building everywhere and in some of the warmer areas a kind of scorched earth, devoid of much life is emerging . There is still hope though. There is still a chance that some of the places pictured in these pages will survive to be loved by our children and grandchildren and our great grandchildren.

I hope you enjoyed my 22 favorite landscape images. Hopefully at least some of these places will be here when are great grandchildren are grown up.

    1. Thanks Colleen, I really appreciate your interest. Not too many people look at environmental websites, I appreciate it.
